Operator contracts are being finalized. Nothing sails here until one is signed. Miami is our only live city. We publish the status of every harbour rather than listing flags and letting you assume.
What SplitClub brings a charter business
The hardest thing to fix from inside a charter company is not the boat, the crew or the route. It is the empty seat. Unfilled capacity is the largest loss in this industry, and it is a matching problem — which makes it a software problem.
SplitClub is a private, application-only members club built around curated yacht days. The club programmes each day end to end and prices it by a single Activity Contribution per member — one contribution for one activity on one date, split across a vetted group, rather than carried by one person chartering a boat and then trying to assemble a crowd.
- A full deck, not a lead. We arrive as a group that has already agreed to the day, not as an enquiry you have to close.
- Funded before it sails. Contributions run through Stripe and are held until the day is fully funded. A day that does not fill does not sail — and nobody is charged.
- Days we programme, on dates you choose. We build around your quiet water, not your Saturdays.
- Every guest reviewed. Application-only in every city. The group that steps aboard has been through the club.
- No listing, no broker margin, no marketplace. You are contracted by the club, not ranked against your neighbours on a search page.
What that looks like in Portofino
| Harbours | Marina di Portofino · Santa Margherita Ligure · Camogli |
|---|---|
| Runs we programme | San Fruttuoso and the Portofino headland, and the long run south to the Cinque Terre |
| Season | June – September |
| Status | Hiring operators — Operator contracts are being finalized. Nothing sails here until one is signed. |

The Cinque Terre run is a full day, sells hard, and needs a group of ten who have already agreed to it. Assembling that group is the club's entire job.
How the contract works
- We talk. Your fleet, your seats, your quiet days, and what a filled deck midweek is actually worth to you.
- We agree rates and dates. Per vessel, per format, for the season. You are not bidding against anyone.
- We programme the calendar. The club builds the day — route, hours, tone, venue — and publishes it to members in the app.
- The day funds, then it sails. You get a confirmed, paid, full deck. You never carry the fill risk.
Expansion is gated on operators, not on demand. We would rather publish an honest status for eleven harbours than announce markets we cannot yet serve.
