Hosting

Every day on the water starts with someone deciding.

A member with a birthday. A brand with a launch. A firm flying its partners in for two days. SplitClub programs the day end to end and splits the cost across the group — the host does not front the boat.

Where this actually stands

SplitClub is live in every city, and hosted days are arranged directly with the club. There is no self-serve booking tool: you send an inquiry, we program the day with you. Miami is sailing today, the Riviera fleet is browsable now, and across the other harbors we are contracting operators — so tell us your city and your date window and we will tell you exactly what we can program. SplitClub is application-only in every city and is not bookable by the general public.

Events are built for groups that have already formed. If you want to put thirty people on the water for an afternoon, the market offers you one route: charter the whole vessel yourself, front the five figures, and spend three weeks chasing everyone to pay you back. Most people decide it is not worth it, and the boat stays at the slip.

SplitClub exists in that gap. The club programs the day — the vessel, the route, the hours, the crew, the food, the venue it lands at — and prices it as a single Activity Contribution per person: one contribution for one activity on one date, split across a vetted group rather than carried by whoever had the idea.

How the money works

The same way it works for every club day, because a hosted day is a club day with a host attached. Each person makes the Activity Contribution for that experience. Payment runs through Stripe and is held until the day is fully funded — if it does not fill, it does not sail, and nobody is charged. Some activities are set separately for men and women, and the club comps places on some days; the live figure is always the one on the day's card in the app before anyone contributes.

A company that would rather cover the day outright than split it across attendees is handled directly with the club. That is a conversation, not a checkout — billing, headcount and cancellation terms are scoped per day.

Company and private days

The corporate version of this is not a different product, it is the same day with a different reason for existing. A firm bringing clients out for an afternoon, a fund hosting its investors around a meeting, a team doing an offsite that is not a conference room in a hotel — all of it is the club programming a day and a group arriving to it.

What SplitClub can say honestly today: this is arranged directly, in Miami, one day at a time. There are no announced corporate partners, no published rate card and no self-serve corporate booking. If your date is outside Miami, the honest answer is that it depends on an operator contract that may not be signed yet — and we will tell you which.

What is live, and what is not

Published the same way the club publishes its cities: a status per surface, so nobody has to guess which parts are real.

How to start one

There is no booking engine to work through and no rate card to request. Send the inquiry below with the occasion and a date window, and a person reads it — we will tell you what the club can program, what it would cost each person, and whether the city you have in mind is one where the answer is currently no.

Bring a day to SplitClub

Three fields are required. Tell us the occasion and the date window and we will tell you plainly whether we can program it — including if the answer is no, or not in that city yet.
