Mother Wolf is Chef Evan Funke's Roman restaurant on NE 2nd Avenue, named for the she-wolf of Rome's founding myth. The kitchen sends out wafer-thin wood-fired pizzas, seasonal antipasti and the Roman pastas Funke is known for: carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe and arrabbiata. The room glows in red damask, chandeliers and olive trees.
