The work of Philippine-born artist Kennan del Mar is shrouded in mysteries and hidden meanings, as seen in his style of surreal art. I never really looked at myself as an artist before. I just know that I love to draw, he says. When he decided to try oil painting, he realized this was what he wanted to do. To him, the only way to express his experiences, feelings and sometimes dreams is through painting.
