Manhattan by Sail: sail under canvaspast the harbor lights
Manhattan by Sail runs the tall ship Clipper City and the schooner Shearwater out of Pier 36 at South Street Seaport. Public sails include afternoon, sunset, jazz, and holiday-themed routes past the Statue of Liberty and under the Brooklyn Bridge, sold by the seat. The company also books private charters on both vessels. Clipper City is a reproduction 1920s-style topsail schooner; Shearwater is a wooden schooner built in 2000.
